Computing FE Question

When computing your MPG do you use the odometer in your car or go off the ScanGaugeII? Just discovered that due to non stock tires that I had to adjust the speed on the ScanGauge +2%. I computed the difference and then confirmed it using a GPS and the SG set to KPH. So do I use the mileage from the SG from now on?

According to some the SGII can go sightly out of whack over time, so I just use fillup, since even small variations will eventually filter out.

I guess my question is do I use the tank mileage from the SG or still use the odometer? The odometer will report 2% fewer miles then actually driven.

I apply a correction to my car's odometer reading when calculating fuel economy of each tank.

My odometer reports lower than actual, due to swapping the transmission from a model that had different size tires.

I also have a speed (distance) offset entered in the ScanGauge, but it's less accurate than my own calcs against the odometer because you can't enter tenths of a percent when entering the offset.

I have the same +2% issue. I use my odometer and I calculate the +2% in my fuel log. It's like a little bonus every time I enter my fill-up data.
