Civic Aero Bumper Fab - Slambo Gets a Nose Job
I finally committed to fiberglass after months of driving around with ag plastic sheeting duct taped to Slambo's nose.
There's two layers of fiberglass cloth covered with multiple coats of resin underneath the primer, with minimal bondo at this point. I rattlecanned it to get a better look at the low spots and lumps.
Next up: trim the grille opening and inside the wheel wells.
With luck, I'll have a video done by next weekend.
More photos TK!

video
I've seen less professional video on 'professional' broadcasts!
You're a 'natural' for this sort of thing.
Hope it goes viral and your partners pony up with some serious shekels.

Agreed. I was a little bothered by the 480p resolution, but apparently that was down to my connection speed. It looks good at 720p.
Did you have a camera person or a tripod? And how did that work out with rattle cans of glue and paint right next to the un-masked headlights?
Back in the 60s, (probably) Mechanix Illustrated magazine ran a story about squeegeeing resin out under sheet Mylar plastic, that just peels off after the resin cures. I don't use the stuff (fiberglass) myself, but it seems likely to save a lot of sanding.
