Given the facts that Dave presented, it seems CNG would be an excellent fuel to use with a turbo charged engine. Do CNG engines lend themselves to forced induction?

How does CNG compare in cost per mile (or $ per BTU) with gasoline?

Regarding the OP, no, it's not an environmentally responsible choice because it consumes mineral resources and emits so-called pollutants. The only environmentally responsible thing to do is commit suicide. Fortunately, we are not held responsible by the environment, but instead by other people. In my estimation, the benefit I provide to others by being a consumer of a product far outweighs the impossibly small and difficult-to-calculate cost of the "damage" done to the environment.

Should work pretty good since it has a motor fuel octane rating of like 130 and it appears that big rigs are using it. Heavy duty diesel engine on big rigs are always running boost when on the highway at speed even with an empty trailer.

At $2.30/gge it should be about 1/3 cheaper than gas and the fact that its natural gas should extend oil change intervals some what.

Last month I went by the CNG station on highway 287. The price was $2.50gge.
Last night I drove by the station, did not stop but I did see a big rig hooked up to the CNG pump. I will stop there tonight or next weekend and see what the price is.
