coast down idle?

Ok having a senior moment. Is it called a coast down idle when you coast with clutch in but engine slowly drops idle? OBD I system, can this be changed? Even fully warmed up idle only drops to about 850 where if not rolling and after about 30 seconds it will drop to about 600. I know it is there for ease in engaging the clutch again but I can handle that.

If it only idles high when moving, all you need to do is make the ECU think the car isn't moving.

Indeed, Natalya has a module for the Insight which can, on demand, feed the ECU a ~1mph signal, which could in theory allow for low idle while coasting. Our cars shut the engines off entirely in those cases though.
