Our fuel logs are ongoing logs of whatever we run into, road construction, traffic, etc is all included. These are real number, not some 'supreme mpg' you got a quick shot of with a camera... I can coast down a hill and show ya 9999 on my scangauge. Or, on the other hand I can buy a new Prius and drive it a little and my wife takes it for a weekend trip and gets the 1.7% below EPA that you can see in my signature. Stuff happens, we can't all get amazing mileage 100% of the time.

But we can still try. One of my co-workers asked me in June, "Why do you drive so slow?" (he passed me with his Tacoma en route to the event) I answered, "I drive the speed limit." I set an all-time record on my next fill in my Mustang. 32.32 MPG
In some situations, the effort is worth it.

This is great.

I've only had my Insight a short while and hadn't considered using '7th gear' to cruise at high speeds (that's 55mph for me ).

Can't wait to try it at the weekend
