$187 for 12V, 18Ah? Ouch.

Not enough cranking power for cars + winter time. Amp hour capacity is also really low compared to a conventional lead acid battery. They are quite light though.

If it lasts as long as claimed, the price is appropriate. I'd love to put a small one in my track car, it would save a lot of weight. Hopefully they have the appropriate charging circuits built in, an alternator output is completely inappropriate for a Lithium battery charger.

For $220, I could replace the two 12A gel cells in my Phat Flyer scooter, have less voltage sag for more power, and shave off 15 pounds. In that context, it seems like a decent deal. But to replace the starting battery in a lawnmower? Not so much.

It's a new product, so the price will likely to come down and there will be more options.

Actually not too bad a price...depending on use. I used two of the not quite 36 volt Dewalt packs to power my electric bike for a couple years(over 3500 miles). Generally, about the cheapest you could get those was $100 per pack at 75Whrs(33Volts x 2.3Ahrs). If my math is correct, then these new batteries give 216Whrs(12Volts x 18Ahrs) for $187.00. Seems like a fair price for LiFePo4.
