It's only a university's concept, vtec-e, so it's unlikely to see production.
It could almost fit into the VW catalogue, but they've got the up! already.

I like it.

There's a few areas that need improvement though.
Rear hatch hinges ?
3/4 rearward visibility is going to suffer badly with a C-pillar this massive and elevated rear window sill.

The sides of the rear need to have more crisp corners, for a better Kamm back. The front fender flares look too abrupt, and should be more flush.

Apologies, I thought you meant by VW etc. As a prototype I hope it is, a mass maker may be a different kettle of fish of a different colour contained in a can of worms.

And VW has the Up! coming.
