convert floodies to gel?

has anyone ever considered cooking up an electrolyte that would gel when poured into a floodie? Is that like a totally stupid idea?

hmm... Gel cells use calcium instead of antimony in the plates for some reason. the gel is sulfuric acid and microsilica. Gel is considered "recombinant"...
