Thanks for the link! Having ridden a fully faired motorcycle, it is amazing how dry I can stay, provided I keep moving... the Crossbow design looks like it could keep me totally dry even when stopped, provided the rain isn't blowing sideways

Interesting. But I wonder what Suzuki thinks about them ripping-off their Nuda concept cycle from the 80s for their CGI concept?
Reminds me of this -

None of which is confidence inspiring.
But a deadly aim at the video gamers.
(the whole idea of "green transportation" should have been the giveaway, I suppose).

Hey, that's me .
It looks like the crossbow requires you to hunch over all the time. My lower back doesn't like that idea. Notice how the sketch of me sitting on my bike above is much taller.

Unless that front end is meant to break away or swing forward, the front cover could be very dangerous when slamming on the brakes or in an accident.
Not very aero at all. The concept picture that they ripped off is far more aero.
Huge frontal area, and would most likely throw the balance of the bike off too.

Did you do this? Don't recall if I saw it here first.
Hope you don't mind me posting it.
Cd - The dangers of a front or partial enclosure always cross my mind also.

Looks like you have to totally lay down on the tank to let the canopy down. Might be tough on the neck unless there's a chin rest. Might be tough on the chin then. You'd want to flip it up and sit up for city traffic.

Nonsense.
Look:
The fairing on the rear tire is almost completely different. I mean, they use flush-mounted screws!
