D15z1 swapped 94 cx hatch - best tank

Greetings, long time lurker, first relevant post..... had my best tank ever in my 49 state vx swapped 94 cx hatch.

I rebuilt the bottom end almost 2 years ago, and have been trying to eclipse 50 mpg / 500 mile tank for a while. This trip was 95% highway, mostly between 63 and 67mph. Only aero add on are the vx/si front chin spoiler, and foglights to fill voids. Had been running a 100% grill block but not on this trip. Belly pqn up next.

And looking for 13 tire suggestions as ive recently found a set of aluminum vx 13s. Any help appreciated.

Congratulations on your first post and your first 50 mpg/500 mile trip King D! Be prepared though... once you break 50, you will want more

I would suggest this tire for you: Kumho Sense 175/70R13 It is light, touted as an LRR tire, and priced economically. Also has a 40,000 mile warranty to boot!

One of the tires I've seen mentioned on insightforum is the Kumho Solus KR21 155/80/13. 22.8" tall, not rated as being lrr but it is cheap and the warranty is for 85k miles (but you know how that goes).

$190/4 + shipping on tirerack. $230 from Discount Tire.
