The spam I get sometimes. Today it contained a message from a company wanting to give me free (hah!) consulting services for my startup business in Tel Aviv, another (in French) from a Moroccan company wanting to sell me a Honeywell solar hot water heater. (11,900 dirham installed - about $1350 at current exchange rates, so I wonder if they charge mileage :-)), and to tie the package together, another for private jet rental :-)

Snow. Bad for mileage in the absolute sense, but wonderful for social mileage. Nobody notices that you're driving slowly when everyone's driving slowly.
I just finished my worst tank in 6 months, but this morning I got 47.5 mpg and didn't have to worry about holding anyone up!

Snow actually makes people drive slower where you live? Whereabouts is that, 'cause I may just move there :-) Around here, many people have 4WD/AWD SUVs and such, so they don't need to slow down (hah!), and another bunch (or maybe the same ones) are recent immigrants from the California flatlands, and have never driven in snow.

Yeah, they're invincible. But you only need a few slowpokes to bring everything to a near halt. And then I blend right in.

It's 8 degrees out and snowing like crazy, but I'm feeling warm all over because I just put in my seed order.
I'm going to use last year's tomato and pepper seeds, but I'm getting a couple mixes of salad greens, peas and a couple different beans. I'm even getting a couple varieties of sunflowers to give the kids a thrill.
And Adirondack Red potatoes. Got to love 'em!

Please. I prefer GOPotatoes.
Of course, I did buy them from Fedco...

Daily Smiles ?
Well, I just joined a Meetup group for social anxiety, and the first meet is this Sunday.
The main guy there had driving anxiety, just like I have now.
I have been driving more lately, because I got accepted as a ( unpaid ) intern at a place that makes large scale sculptures, and other art related objects. It takes me 45 min to drive there and I have to come back driving at night, which is really something that makes me nervous.
I opened a shop on Etsy to sell some of my art.
It's 70 degrees F outside now, and it looks like it's going to be a great weekend.
So that's my list.
