I have a small magnetic sign on the back of my car stating that I'm checking out my mpg progress daily.
I realize that overall I'm happy to live in a more green approach tolerant area than most in the USA, but I feel I get less abuse (faster, kinder freeway passed from behind) particularly in any situation where I'm minimizing traffic accordian effects.
Lately, when departing from after a red light, I will actually see the vehicle behind me
chill out, and mimic my pace, and fall even further back sometimes setting up for the next red light heavy braking avoidance even better than myself.
I find that quite encouraging!!!

you see to sports cars hugging the tail, wait to pass then floor it past. then on come the tinted break lights and they get on my nose. out of the sun roof comes a guy with a big camera and shoots a string. then off they speed only to miss their turn and do a u turn and have to wait for me to clear the intersection before they can turn

Thanks, I hope to be less - Arragomatic than before, but the pause has been unpaused
Now to catch up on people's project threads, and get my fuel log up to date. I may be quiet for a while

Ooh - hit hypermiler status with new fuel log updates which is good. I suspect this will dive very soon though, and I must have made a mistake.

Second smile to the above - the fuel log takes in Imperial gallons - now to work out where I went wrong...

Yesterday's smile: finally received my Wolverine oil pan heater today, some delay not caused by Wolverine.
Today's smile: 2,3 kWh of electricity produced by my recently installed solar panels!

Finding a bill on credit card for THEIR automatic 2 year subscription of a magazine that I no longer want; and having the credit card rep. call the magazine agent himself, and confirm separation of ways in a professional manner!

Yesterday on my way home from work, I watched an aggressive driver in a Chevy pick-up perform a "spare tire delete" at 35 MPH(!) In front of me! His rear bumper "pole-vaulted" over the spare tire. I was able to avoid the obstacles without using my brakes. (I may be an ecomodder.)
His spare tire rolled past him after he stopped. And he had a passenger to witness the whole event.
