One of the cartoons I've seen shows the pump operator holding out his open wallet to the customer :
Fill it up !

Actually it is some of those types of cartoon--amazing how a good e-mail will float around!

Right country, wrong region.
No need to apologize.

Namur is in the French speaking part of the country (Walloon region), I'm 100 km north in the Dutch speaking part (Flemish region).
You'll have a lot more fun driving around Namur than around here

The 5th one from the bottom could be me & my dog, as we put $20 in the Insight the other day (one of those cash-only stations where you feed it bills). Didn't quite make it a whole month on the last $20 (2/17 - 3/14), and will probably only get 3 weeks or so out of this one. Just don't know what the world's coming to...

Just wondered. Me and a friend (much older) installed a system in Namur a few (1993) years ago and he was a culture vulture so we did the town's history as our 'down time' as he wasn't into beer. Its a nice place.

127 miles on the 250 Rebel today, some high speed Interstate in very heavy congestion.
Got home and topped the tank up with the last of my 5 gallon gas can. Right at 400 miles on 5 gallons for 80 MPG and 400 miles on $17 or $.0425 per mile on the bike.

Had a chance to check mileage in the Altima on a deserted road at different speeds using cruise control.

55 MPH=39 MPG
50 MPH=44 MPG
45 MPH=48 MPG
40 MPH=50 MPG
35 MPH=47 MPG

At speeds below 35 MPH I can P&G (engine on) and hit 55-60 MPG
Still want to test various rates of acceleration and coasting to see which rate of acceleration is best for average MPG, to minimise mileage losses when forced stops are encountered.

regards
Mech
