Disclaimer - Silence is not agreement

I only try to correct a small percentage of the misinformation and faulty logic I read on this forum. The volume has become overwhelming.

I know I've misspoken from time to time, but most of the time it's because something I read or learned elsewhere was also incorrect. I'm not against being told something I "know" is wrong, but it really gets on me a bit when I just get "you're wrong and here's why" with no evidence to back it up.

As much as it may seem like it, I don't post for the hell of it (most of the time).

I actually thought (for whatever reason) that it was the 4.3 that comes in Blazers. Again, not sure what the hell that was all about. I think (like I said) that it was a project that I mistook for being OEM installed.

I think more to Bobs point, I do think we (myself included) can up our game and be careful not to post speculation/opinion/invalid info/myth as fact. At least qualify it if you are not sure, and if you are sure then re-evaluate why you are sure. And if you have a link(s) to corroborating evidence, even better.

place w/good accurate info vs pit of opinions and misinformation.

It wasn't a personal comment, just a general observation.

I almost said something but for some reason opted to stay silent.

It's true, once in a while I do that.

I do have to defend Ecomodder in the fact that there is more good info here than just speculation.

But yes, we could strive to make it even more factual by linking to sources, documentation, and doing Scientific A-B-A testing.

For some, we are the scientist mechanic and astronaut...
oh and mig welder fabricator and crew chief. Best bet: be the pilot too.
