display average mpg on scangauge

I saw a thread on here (don't remember what not) where a guy showed a picture of his SGII with the average mpg on the gauge screen. How do you set that up, flipping between the gauge and trip screen is a bit of a pain. Thanks.

Was it the average mpg for a trip? or was it for a tank? Or something else?

I'm not sure. I'd like to get the current average on the gauge screen. That's the one for the current trip that resets if the car is off for 3 minutes.

If you have the newest scangauge with x-gauge features or an old one that has been updated you can program the gauge display average trip FE on the 4 gauge display. You'd have to look up how to do it in the manual though.

Yeah I dug up the manual and it is in there. Thanks. It's a lot easier than I thought it would be to do also.

I find having the Instant MPG, Average Trip MPG, and Tank MPG up at the same time to be helpful. XGauge's rock.
