And I bet that's not even counting ticketing, security, boarding, waiting for luggage... With a small plane, allow a generous 15 minutes for pre-flight, and maybe chasing cows/deer off the runway :-)

So big they couldn't get it in the frame.

The problem is getting everyone to want to go the same direction at the same time.

^^ Nice example of the area rule. From front to back the hull gets gradually wider, but caves in at the root of the wings so the total cross section area stays more or less the same.

For confirmation go to people just like you.
For education go to people unlike yourself.

Luigi Colani. He's an artist who works in air.

^^Vertical takeoff, re-entry and landing from right to left.

^^He likes big airplanes and he cannot lie.

I dunno... I think I'd rather fly airplanes designed by engineers :-)

I'm a fan of Colani's work for it's breadth as much as anything. Chairs, pianos, locomotives as well as all the cars and airplanes. It's mind-boggling; if, I guess, you're easily boggled.

On the bright side, the odds of finding yourself on a plane he designed are vanishingly small.
