Smile Do something nice for a parent or kid today

Young, old, whoever it is, however you do it. It DOES matter to them.

If you need to spend time away from the house, to deal with emotions, on days like today (if you take it personally like me), then maybe start working on that project you have been putting off. Or take your local dog or horse for a walk.

Don't get sucked into what I normally do, stew and watch TV news too much.

Make it a positive day for yourself, and someone you know.

If you have kids or know of any, give a hug or a phone call today.

That is what I plan on doing.

I managed to raise a pretty amazing daughter.....Thank GOD! (seriously)
I was blessed in that way.
I was a very hard axx single dad.

BUT, I was always doing something random to show her how I felt.
for ex: On her 18th bday, her bfreind & I got a package of helium balloons and a tank and spent 1 hour in the hs parking lot tying them to her car.
everyone one in the school saw us doing it. I finally called the principal and asked if she'd send her out.
Kids were hanging out the windows sing happy birthday w/ us.

She LOVED.

She has said that it was those random acts that have stayed with her.
