My Winco had small packages of marinated porkroast on sale for $1.98 @ lb. Bought one, just chucked it into the crock pot with a water bath. Cooked well, delicious, BUT, the labels are a pain to clean off the pot liner after they cooked on. Next time it goes into a plastic bag.

Even though some labels might be a PITA to remove prior to heating food with a water bath, that's a good reason to do it. Cleaning off the pot liner is always even more of a PITA.

A few days ago, having gone to a restaurant which owner is from Venezuela, I noticed some items on the menu such as a chicken-and-avocado arepa. Didn't try it, but sounded interesting to say the least.
