Speaking of cats, I have 3 cats for rodent control. Would that mean I'm a cat guy, so I need a miata/ convertible BMW to drive them around in?

In much of the EU that was previously USSR people keep dogs. Most people who have a house have a dog and a fence to protect their stuff. The louder and meaner the dog barks, the more afraid people are, even if the dog acts like a chicken when a stranger in is the yard.

What is a pain is when you need to meet someone at their house and you can't get in because there is a mean dog in the yard and no doorbell button on the gate. You can always call them though, assuming that they have a phone.

Our dog (adopted at 11 years old) decided that she was a wolf last night - so at 4am we had full on 2 or 3 wolf howls. I padded out to check and she was asleep and snoring as usual again.

I wonder when she wakes up if she will be thinking "did I ?"

I dunno... My two dogs are perfectly happy riding in the Insight, and they do go most places wih me (mainly because most of my driving these days is to get to places to go hiking, mtn biking, cross-country skiing, and other fun stuff.

Funny about the dog eating the Aston-Martin. Was at the physical therapist this morning, and a guy came in to get a new cast on his broken finger, 'cause his dog ate the old one.

Could be what you're feeding her. I've always fed my two premium food, plus a bit of fruit & vegetables, and have no problems.

That reminds me of TVR and the Griffith (~1992). The story goes that the headlight surround was "designed" by Peter Wheeler's dog taking a bite out of the foam styling buck.

My dog is good at recycling. She will find plastic bottles and drop them in the bin for a price. Half a biscuit per item.
