Dogs and ecomodding...

So, I got my car finally towed to our house.

Today I went out to work on it, as it needs some engine work, among other things. We happen to have to have dogs in our yard all the time, and one of them likes to chew things.

So...I'm working on getting getting my valve cover off, and I hear this weird scraping sound. As it turns out, out dog was working on the first ecomod; he was working on removing my mud flaps. I wasn't to happy with that, but at least I didn't yell at him. I won't mention anything about throwing tools at him...

Anyway, I found out that the mud flaps weren't original anyway, so he can go ahead and remove them. The rubber is old and all cracked anyway...

What would be really nice would be if he could unscrew them and throw the mud flaps and their bracket away for me...

I think dogs cause many yahoos to get SUVs and pickups so the yahoos can drive the dogs all over creation. And by god every yahoo NEEDS a dog or five.

Um... would you mind defining what a "yahoo" is?

I'm not meaning the website...

Sorry for my ignorance.

Oh, and our dogs rarely travel by car other than to the vet, and we try to minimize that.

I'm all for dogs and gas reductions. Mine like to sneak up and steal my tools/ parts. Well, sometimes thats true, sometimes its a convenient excuse.

For the record I have 4 dogs, and I'm not a yahoo (maybe a google). I live in the country, and work nights (2 for that, then 2 were abandoned by a slacker family member).

From context, I'd say it is probably someone whose entire vocabulary consists of that one word...
