Salem used to have a drive in on Lancaster, but that was turned into the Santiam 11 theater long ago. The last thing I saw was "The Last Action Hero", and "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead".
I just looked up The Last Action Hero and what do you know, the costar of the film Austin O'Brien was born on May 11, 1981 in Eugene, Oregon.
Guess they turned this into new housing:
At least I got to see a double feature with my wife (GF at the time) before it closed. I'll have to check out the one in Newburg.
