Are you sure on the teardrop being the most aerodynamic shape? I thought Bucky Fuller proved many years ago that a taper on both ends was better. I remember a picture of a car he designed looking a lot like an airplane on wheels.

are calling that a "teardrop" shape, although it looks more airplane-like. I guess I'll have to do some aero studies. I'm still thinking that a pointed front is better, or jet airplanes wouldn't be shaped that way...
...or does that only matter at higher speeds???
I see that Amory Lovins hypercar is more of a teardrop...
