You can easily do them yourself if you can use electric jigsaw. Just buy new plastic hubcabs, cheapest you can find. Take the inner part off to save weigth. Saw a round plate in correct size from abs sheet. srew the round plate with 5 screws to the outer edge of that original hubcab. Better instructions can be found here if you use search button.

Cheapest place to buy that abs is propably companies that do vacuumforming. They migth even give them for free if you say where you need it .

ABS costs about 3€/kg on sheet material. If you buy one big sheet you can also do airdams and ballypans with the same material . I would buy 3mm or 4mm thickness.

Tuneko | Less drag = Less fuel

Web sites have some new material and first information from the hubcabs which name will be FleXcap. I got the first 22.5" prototype ready for front wheels today and it worked ok. Now it needs just small series wood tool and more tweaking on the dimension and material thicness. Hopefully the front wheel version is on the market at the end of january.

Products can be bought at ebay (at next week) or send a message from the contact us page.

Also at the beginning of year 2011 there will be a ABA comparison test on a truck with FleXcaps and without them. Then we will now what the effect will be on fuel economy. We will use 10 current 22.5" version and 4 front wheel versions if they are ready then. Test will be done on motorway at 80 km/h with cruisecontrol on. Same route at least two times so ABAB. Hopefully we have the testers have time for even more repeats.

Happy New Year to all

Vekke, this is superb. You've come so far so quickly! Best of luck. Have you tried approaching large haulage companies directly? They are ALWAYS complaining of high fuel costs, approximately £1000 per week over here per truck. Eddy Stobart are a huge and very influential haulage company here - they even have their own tv series! Anything they do, others will copy for sure. Get in at the top and enjoy the trickle-down effect.

I have sended emails to all big companies which do business here in finland. Some of them are also global companies like DHL but so far they havent even replied to my emails. Hopefully I am able to get some contract with even one big company in the near future, because then the snowball effect will start more likely.

I sended email to Eddy Stobart .

I dont think that things have happened so fast, on my own scale I have been lazy .
