On cool freezing days I'm down about 20% on energy economy and that's rarely using the heater.
Over all the leaf is doing better than I thought it would but the cold is a lot worse than what I thought it would be.
And it hasn't even really gotten cold here yet.

Hmmm my Volt batteries seem to keep the same capacity, current falls and the sags are huge. I am not using heat.

The volt batteries are under rated and over built so they could find the power within to overcome the cold, if the batteries are not being heated.
Lithium batteries really suffer in the cold.
I have been using them since 2010.
