I was at the local tractor, farm implement and vehicle auction. Electric side by side utility vehicles and golf carts are affordable.

Used electric golf carts can be inexpensive to dirt cheap. A lift kit, some tires with better tread and a new set of batteries and you're in business.
My dad has a Menards gasser utv and an electric golf cart. Claims the golf cart takes more work due to keeping the corrosion off of the batteries, cables, etc.
Check Craig's list. I bet you can score a decent golf cart in the next two weeks.

Most of these electric vehicles use 36 volt lead acid.
Are there any 36v solar charge controllers or or power inverters out there for 36v?
I know there are endless supplies of 36v plug in chargers since forklifts and floor scrubbers use 36v.

How much is a good quality electric atv?
If you dont need 4wd, wouldn't a cheapie EV do the job well?

Yeah I'm thinking more along the lines of a golf cart or side by side, doesn't have to be 4x4.

I kind of want a golf cart because it comes equipped with its own shade and I could stick some panels on it and a charge controller and probably never need to plug it in. It would likely be able to charge for 2 or 3 days between uses.
