Electric Vehicles More Expensive To Operate Than Gas Vehicles?

Not if you can't get the gasoline on as regular and reliable a basis. Were one equipped to charge from one's own solar plant then the reliability of either gasoline distribution or electrical grid would be a moot point . . one at which I'd like to be for an around town commuter/grocery-getter.

Relative expense is almost irrelevant when seen from that perspective.
