I'm just sayin'. I don't like it either.

But from a social point of view California needs dragstrips already, nevermind when cars drive themselves.

Edit: Meanwhile, back on the topic, Transport Evolved has this story: How an Electric Hot-Rodder Helped Tesla Motors Pull Off its Tesla Energy Big Reveal

And an image of how most of the Gigag factories output will be configured. Supercharger stations will be one early recipient.

Whelp, the picture of the big gauges and the title are there but the boring details are gone. It named the company and the hired gun they brought in on contract.

Seems like this won't work in Scotland.

Drat.

Ah well, back to clockwork I suppose.

Based on an assumption of fixed panels at the optimum azimuth angle 49° at 60°N.

Increased capture would lift the entire curve. I would think mount the panels on a 49° axle*, or put moveable shutters on either side of a fixed panel. Or spec better cells.

Here in the PNW, at about 45°, the sunny days of January are long gone and we're getting through the overcasts that we pay extra for to drive the Californians back home. I think it's called May because it may be nice and it may not.

I see Stephen C. Baer's name on the [lapsed] patent, but in his books he gives credit to Day Chahroudi (the Cloud Gel guy).
