Engine load of 6 and 7th Gen Civic

Hi folks

If you have a 6th or 7th Honda Civic, or a car with similar engine (size and horsepower), what is the engine load of your vehicle at idle (operational temperature, P or N, all accessories and headlights are off ) ?

Thx.

Since I removed the power steering pump, belt, and pulley, and have also removed A/C and turned off the alternator and am using a non-standard deep cycle battery, my answer to this question will not be as helpful as it might. But if I recall correctly, the load shown on my Ultragauge hovers around 20% at idle in neutral and fully warmed-up.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.

Thx Califonia98cvic

The engine load of my civic hovers around 27%. I just make sure this load at idle is "normal".
