Lol nice. Probably a bit of a safety risk at night though.

Funny. I wonder how much is aero thinking vs. not being sure how to load the bike and/or ground clearance issues.
This one, from our own forum, is a little more ... um ... deliberate:
Before...
After...

Wow! Another minute and a half of work and that would be the coolest, most half-assed, most bang for the buck Kammback on steroids ever.

MetroMPG -- I remember that. Did you remember it and have to find a search term, or do you keep a complete list?

I guess I'm not seeing it. How would the minute and half be spent?

Duct taping a sheet of coroplast to the rear edge or the trunk and securing the tail end to the bike's wheel with a zip tie or something. It can't be too wide and would have to get narrower towards the rear, but the bicycle would be the frame for it so the hard work is already done.

It almost looks intentional - as if the guy had read up on this very site and knew the sweet spot to place the bike.
No doubt it was posted on FBook as a joke to the masses, but I'd say this guy laughed in the end.
Who knows, his wake might have been even better with that bike, since it might have dispersed some of the vortexes formed at the back of the car.

OK a minute and a half, plus zipties and coroplast. I get it.
Cd -- Making little ones out of the big ones. If he did get the idea here, then it was probably HHOTDI's car-top tent.

I remembered the project and the member's name. But "BMX trunk Civic" found it.
