Is this to Extreme?

Well here is what looks like the best areomod I can come up with.. skirts on all 4 tires will be included also, left them off..

Is this to extreme?

Details .. the nose is already built and on the car, there will be a hood raise of about 1.5 " to bring the rear of the hood up and then the boat tail..

I think it's unnecessary for the desired effect.

Check with Basjoos on this one. I think he is the local expert on stretching cars.

Actually I was talking with him and Areohead who did a CRX and he as explaining what I need on the CRX for optimal areo.. the Areocivic has more of a teardrop shape stock to work with.. making for different tail shapes.. this is what came out of our conversations so far.. Areohead did some things for convenience like having a rear window thats useful.. I'll be doing a rear view camera setup for that.

I'm not sure if you did any computational fluid dynamics modeling on your nose, but if you're going to go through all of that trouble, please model it first.

the nose was designed by two criteria.. need a place to put the plate vertically and round.. its all rounded to push air around and over the car.. it wasn't not modeled, I have no way of doing that.. however by doing "bug splat tests" it's very efficient, the bugs only hit the nose where the plate goes in front.. I was quite surprised for my shoot from the hip methods. made a big difference top speed coasting down hills and in throttle needed to run at 55mph. Thats all I can go by i guess

How would I model this? software or something?

It's too much for me, but I say GO FOR IT!!!! Like bennelson said, let's see what basjoos says. Also, I know that Phil Knox modified a 1984 CRX for aerodynamics. I would look for pictures of that as a starting point.
