So some authoritarian decides the solution to their 'problem' is to put in a speed bump; and then you are upset because someone (perhaps sarcastically) slows down for it?

This is the Lounge, so:

No, the point is that some folks lower the hell out of their rides, fit oversized rims and get stuck in EVERY single speed bump or larger pot hole that a normal car could overcome rather easily. Others crawl the speed bumps sideways in order to not get stuck, but while they're maneuvering the traffic jams form. I think it's disrespectful to do so in a public roadway, annoying and wasting the time of everyone else just because that bunch of ricers want to show off.

Yeah, I never got the "slammed" Things, either. Their whole point was to be a more off-road capable vehicle!

Those wheel skirts in freebeard's picture look pretty fetching, though. Stealing that when I restore mine.

The post was intended to show a variety of options. Two out of four were lowered, one was stock. Maybe the long-travel A-arms threw everyone off?

Are you going to have strap-on 20-liter gas cans?

I've even seen a couple with air suspensions, so you can have it both ways!

The gas cans sure look cool, don't they? I bought one of those Brazilian extra-big tanks a while back, but it would crowd out the spare.

That's not an authoritarian, that's an anarchist.

What do you mean by Brazilian extra-big tanks? Aren't them the same as the old Jerry cans?
