I wonder about that though. I use this car purely for commuting purposes. I drive the exact route to/from work every day at the same times. Same weather/temp conditions (If it snows I take my Jeep). I fill up at the same pump, at the same station, at the same time of night.

To me, those are most of the factors that could change FE from one tank to another. That's why I was so surprised to see the FE increase from these past few tanks to this last one. The only difference was the upper/lower grille block.
