Nice choice on the color: black CP looks better in the long run than white CP and a can of spray paint.

Thanks for all your input guys! I think i will definitely be going with aluminum for the belly pan. What are some places to get aluminum sheets? Thanks

What part of Washington?

I'd start with how thick. What temper? When I got aluminum sheet to re-skin my Silver Streak trailer, what they sold me looked right but crumpled immediately.

western wa, i have no idea as to the dimensions of aluminum. What would be best for the belly pan?

Aircraft aluminum from a metals recycler.

I'm no expert on bellypans, but I'd start with a map of the underside of the car and decide whether it will be two or three pieces (one is unlikely unless it's partial).

Do you have something to get the engine temperature? I've been hesitant to do any kind of grill blocking until I get my engine thermometer set up properly.

You should be able to run an OBDII reader to pull yer coolant temps. I personally run a thermo probe in between the top of the engine and hood so I can monitor my engine bay temps.
