I don't have any way to tell, the temps are in the same place as they were before on the OEM gauge so i don't think anything is super out of whack. I have noticed after a bit of driving an improvement in distance i can coast and a good 1-2 mpg increase at 55mph

The OEM gauge allows for pretty huge swings in temperature before it registers. However, I expect that unless you live in a very hot climate (which you don't), you will have no problems.

Might I recommend a cheap eBay bluetooth OBD II reader? You can pair it with an android app such as Torque to get readings on all sorts of interesting data.

Coolant temp or engine bay temp?

Fer yer engine bay temp, you'll have to determine yer baseline before all yer mods. Then after the grill blocks, belly pans, etc are added, you'll be able to see how much it has affected yer engine bay temps.

Coolant temps will vary depending on the load or engine type. Fer my T-100, I'm seeing between 195°F to 204° without any grill blocks.

All three of my family members with Insights run a full lower grill block, and it doesn't get much hotter than central Florida. None of us have ever had an overheating issue.

It would probably be a good idea to run torque, but I haven't yet

How does this full lower grill block affect A/C?
I just got my 2000 insight a few weeks ago and I am getting the mod itch.
I removed the front plate holder and lowered the plate to cover the middle of the lower grill.
