it could be a little off.
after you refill the tank you can adjust the SC for the actual fuel used - this basically calibrates it.

i have heard some people say it is dead nuts on - and others say they can never get it to match the odometer / pumped gallons calculation.

At the very least it will give you a relative MPG of trying different things ( tire pressores - routs to work - DWL / EOC - what ever)

I plan on adjusting to get the best SG numbers and see what the Refill gives me for the actual MPG

Congrats Doofus Steve. I have yet to hit that same mark. Trying hard to but this crappy city bumper to bumper rush hour traffic I hit on my way back from school kills it. I really have to catch up to you. Good luck with achieving better numbers with the Scan Gauge.
