Ok, so I`ve been playing arround a bit with FI - I did all kinds of tests - variations based on the shape of my car.
Ignoring the fact that FI gives just a basic idea that is very far from the truth, how can we use FI to get a real advantage ?
One way that seems to work for me, is profiling different parts of the car separately. Like the trunk of the car or the windshiled slope.
But still this doesn`t help that much.
How can we interpret or simulate as close as possible to reality ?
What are the parameters that best describe air flow and why ?
What size should the template be ? I`m guessing that the bigger, the better.

I'll try to do those requested sometime this week.

Just a tip for you guys making your own. For it to properly work you need to

omit wheels- imagine the car sliced down the center.
include the ground plane- the car needs to be in ground effect.
give it plenty of room above and behind the car for the flow to work.

Enemy:
You mean top down with a Jeep? The flow will look approximately like this

Just what I was looking for but nothing for my Mustang on that site. I might have to take a picture. If anyone has one for a 99-04 Mustang AKA sn95 new edge I will see if I can get a windows box running.
