I've been driving an '06 Focus ZX5 automatic for four years. Pluses: handling, ride, passenger room, reliability (nuthin' but light bulbs), drayage (picked up 72 8' 2x4's the other week no problem at all, at Christmas picked up 6' tree and 42" TV same trip, no sweat). Minuses: cheap interior (but par for the class), mileage only middling (8.0l/100km commuting in Vancouver traffic - 41 km to work in 1 hour, home in 1:20).
