The free-wheeling is what gets me. In 6th gear, engine braking is pronounced above 60 mph, then slacks off until you're down to low speeds. Then all of a sudden, engine braking becomes more pronounced in 1st gear.
You can have it more linear by turning on the Hill Assist, but then engine braking is more pronounced everywhere... which is not what I want for an eco-run.
