Ford Fiestas

I've been trying to find the Cd of the 2012 models for a while since I just got one and was wondering how much more aerodynamic it is than my old car which had a Cd of .36. I couldn't find it anywhere, then I checked the wiki here with the list of Cds (why I didn't check it earlier I don't know haha ) and it says it's .33, which seems a bit high to me for a car that gets such good mileage and is so small.

I plan on doing a partial grill block of the lower grill, any who's tried this, how much does it help? So far I've only done city driving and managed to get about 29.8 mpg.

One of the car magazines did an article on them. One model was below 0.3.I'd have to dig it out.

Phil - that may be the Fiesta "SFE" model. It's their "higher" mileage version with active grille shutters & underbody panels.

I goofed!

Sorry! The article that I had in mind was for the 2012 Focus, not the Fiesta.
The hatchback version of this car, with full engine undertray, butterfly wipers hidden under a cowl and active grille shutters which close at high speed is rated at Cd 0.297.
Since the Fiesta and Focus bear a strong resemblance, the Fiesta might find it easy to realize a Cd like its bigger brother.I like both cars.
