“anybody driving slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac” - Carlin

Same principle applies with the green religion. Anyone using more than you is an arrogant, self-centered, pagan, maniac. Anyone using less is underprivileged, oppressed, excluded, disadvantaged, deprived of bare necessities of life.

Some believe that although humans are of nature, should not alter it. Nature is pristine but for the one mistake she made; homosapiens.

Won't disagree on the Mach-E, but to a 1978 F-100 owner those would be fighting words.

'more with less' was at the core of my formal instruction.
it's the best arithmetic I've ever experienced for the type of situation we're facing.
it's extremely unfortunate for all on the planet that, legacy carmakers fail to grasp the concept.
do not build it, and they won't come.

I'm perfectly comfortable owning those words. I have a few more in the chamber.

For me it was after my formal instruction before I learned about R. B. Fuller.

Quote:
Ephemeralization
Ephemeralization, a term coined by R. Buckminster Fuller in 1938, is the ability of technological advancement to do "more and more with less and less until eventually you can do everything with nothing," that is, an accelerating increase in the efficiency of achieving the same or more output while requiring less input.Wikipedia

On another forum, they talk about how Toyota is so far behind that they will no longer be a company in another year. Toyota didn't "invest" in something that loses as much as the total profit of the company, and that is why they're going to fail.

I'm surprised the F150 Lightning wasn't more popular. It drives like a truck, just a little better... then again I hear the Silverado EV is way better.

Yeah that happens a lot. Ford comes out with it first and gm makes better.

Building factories that will be used for decades costs money and hits the books when the money is spent. Nothing surprising about a company showing loses early in a product cycle.

The only thing worse than not growing fast enough is growing too fast.
