Fuel Economy in a Jeep

Hi! I just found the forum today, so I figured Id use it to track my fuel economy from now on! I drive a 2007 Jeep GC diesel. I needed a vehicle with interior space for my two big-ish dogs, as well as something that can tow with as I just purchased a boat that I will be towing back and forth to the water. So far I've been averaging 26.5-27.5 Mpg and just had my best tank ever of 27.62 mpg. My Commute is 22 miles, 20 of which is highway. Traffic is light in the morning and heavy on the way home, so that can be rough on my FE. Well, hello and i look forward to browsing the forum.

Thats better than I'd expect from even a diesel Jeep! Nice job, you're beating the EPA by quite a bit.
