Fuel injector signal for mpguino

I searched a while for this but could not find anything. I was wondering if the fuel injector pulse value was specific to the size of injector/ numbers of injectors or was specific to a signal from the ECU / number of injectors. I am guessing the first. Thanks.

I don't get it. Signals from ECU are feeding injectors, so what's the difference here? MPGuino is counting time of injector to be opened, then it's multiplied by number of injectora and you can estimate an amount of fuel used.

So what exactly you want to know?

I believe it is also looking at how long the injector is open too.

Basically if I was to switch to another ECU would this value change? I am assuming that it would not as I feel it is specific to the injector size and number of injectors which has not change. Does that make sense?

[QUOTE=AndrzejM;351601MPGuino is counting time of injector to be opened[/QUOTE] That's what I said, it the same as you've said of "how long injector was opened"

If you want to move MPGuino from one car to another you have to calibrate it, and if you are chanhing ECU in the same car you should calibrate it too.
