$2.169 here at Wally World today. I filled my two 5 gallon gas cans and topped off the Sentra with 6.382 gals for $35 total. We have had snow on the ground for close to two weeks, third coldest February on record here. Records back to the mid 1800s.

regards

Best price I got was $1.899 Jan 19th on the bike, barely more than 1 gallon. I think the wife got some for $1.839 about the same time.

I don't expect gas prices to ever top $3/gal again (national avg). Too many people like Neil are going electric and they won't be switching back.

The price of fuel is guaranteed to go above $3/gal in both nominal and real terms.

Just because Neil can afford a $40k vehicle doesn't mean others can, and other countries are in varying stages of development and will keep demand for fossil fuels strong for quite a long time.

All mineral resources become more scare over time, so their prices must increase. With a positive world population growth rate, demand for scarce resources increases their value.

Filled up at 1.469 €/l at Tamoil Gouda last Thursday.
Saw another Tamoil station in St. Annaland last Friday, it posted 1.569 €/l at a 8 c discount price...???

Prices have gone up some since January.

You need to reconsider.
