It's $4.30 around here. Oil futures have been down lately (until today), but prices at the pump have shot up immensely. I wonder what the connection is between the two or if any exists at all...

Everyone still drives 75+mph, traffic seems as dense as ever, and someone gave me the finger for the first time last week. Also, no one I've talked to has complained about high gas prices. I must live in bizarro Southern California.

People have too much money for their own good.

If you get a place anywhere within walking distance of Sepulveda, South of UCLA, as far down as LAX, you can take the #6 Culver City bus into UCLA and not have to pay for parking :

Phoenix Aridzona is not far behind. $4.05 and probably higher in Scottsdale Gasbuddy.com reported $4.19 in the area.

I am driving to northern Nevada in August, and expect to see close to if not over $5.00 in remote areas by then.

Later,

Allan Greenblazer

the red line bus is decent and the blue line is alright-the drivers can be very rude and aggressive....as long as your on the west side public trans is fine...
