I was wondering that same thing. That is a George Barris custom Prius.
No disrespect. Just not my taste in styles.
He did some pretty unique stuff.

I was never a fan of George Barris. He seemed to be more of a Hollywood promoter than a customizer - although his Ala Kart was nicely done.

You know, this comes as a surprise, because he's one of those people, like Yogi Berra, who I remember from childhood as being fairly old, so I just assumed that they'd died long ago.

His bother Sam died young. He was the one that did the chop-top Mercs. Ford did the heavy lifting with the Lincoln Futura, and George didn't have enough budget to screw up the Batmobile. He took off the top and painted it.
