It's a go for Sept.4

I heard back from DARKO and I have a reservation for the 4th.I've emailed a request for an afternoon session, which will give me time to really clean the truck so nothing comes loose and gets airborne inside the tunnel.
So now I feel like Preston Tucker upon getting the old Dodge plant:"All I need now is a car and $3,000,000"

I'm gonna guess that whatever's goin' on,it's symptomatic of an open door configuration. At 10-15 degrees the pressures must be balanced between 'inside' and outside.Whenever you try to either open or close the door, the pressure differential opposes it.
I suspect that the overall drag of the JEEP is higher until the door is fully closed.
