it's back together

Ignorance AND a quiet exhaust system is bliss.

Note to self: welding under a car lying on my back is not fun!

Add to that limited welding skill/experience, and you get some hilariously bad looking welds.

The one I did on the bench turned out OK, though:

It's all back on the car, and she's purring like a kitten again! A low-tech, 3-cylinder kitten.

Considering I put it together with used pipes that aren't exactly pristine, I'll be happy if I get a year or so out of them before I actually have to spend more than five dollars to fix it... again.

But it's good to spend some quality time under the car once in a while: I noticed a few other things that could use a little adjustment/TLC/paint....
