Talking Got my first 80+ mpg fill

I got my first 80+ mpg fill today, 83.39 to be exact. Drove 517 miles and filled with 6.2 gallons of 10% ethanol (all fills are with 10% ethanol) Have been excited to fill up for the last couple of days because I knew it would be a great fill. I decided to do a quick job and do a few errands before filling even though I knew it would bring down the average, lots of stop signs and stop lights.

My daughter was with me and when I came back from paying for the gas, the first thing out of her mouth was "You are just plain sick Dad." then she told me what I averaged.

Congratulations, 2.82 l/100km, that is simply amazing for a gasoline engine

Very nice. When I finally hit the bottom if this tank, I should be able to post my first 70+ mpg fill.

You know, that would be 90mpg with a few aeromods.

I know, I cant wait till my wife gives me some time to do some aero mods, just might make getting better mileage easier.

Dude, that RAWKZ.

Tell your daughter when she's much older, she'll look back on Dad's crusty ol' Insight and marvel how such wasteful vehicles were ever permitted.

Man, I'd trade my Metro for an Insight. I was KIDDING! Still, that is phenomenal fuel mileage!
