1st tank netted a solid 39mpg, boy I'm happy. I let you know if the bliss is still there after my 1st payment.

I bet it will be. The MPG's should get better as the engine breaks-in!

Just got a 2007 Hb manual a month ago. First tank (note this was the first time with a manual) I got 34 mpg all city now I get from 36 to 40 city. Love this car. If any one has any good ideas about mounting a pan on the wheels let me know. i don't have many tools so tapping the nut is out but I kinda like the idea with the neodymium magnets.Going to get the scan gauge in 2 weeks XD.

I just noticed on the 2012 Yaris that it has a single windshield wiper -- it is a big one, and there are two parts of the arm, so the motion is probably a modified arc. The blade is very long -- I'd guess about 30" long. It is the type that can be used during the winter as well as in the rain.

A number of Mercedes products have that setup. The wiper has a slip-joint in the middle of the arm, and it extends as the arm points toward the corner of the window, and retracts as the arm points to the top of the window. It seems to sweep a nearly-rectangular area this way, and works fairly well.

Right, I've seen the Mercedes -- this one is more pedestrian. I'd have to see it in action to see what geometry changes. The pivots are closer to the driver's side, so it is not a symmetrical sweep like the Mercedes.

Yes, a mirror image and virtually identical to that arm, with an all-season blade (no spaces for ice to form).
