Greetings Ecomdder!

Hey All,
Happy 2nd Birthday! I'm new-ish to the site. I joined a while back but never posted much. I've been trying to squeeze as much out of my Chev. Aveo5 as possible, but that thing must be too much fun to drive cause it is always a struggle to get the mileage over 30.

Any one with suggestions on how to help bring my wife into the mindset of ecodriving? Perhaps I'll find a better thread to drop that question in...

Anyways, Happy Birthday!

Can you hook up to anything your wife already values? Does she think that being feminine means nurturing stuff, for instance?

How about adding some entries to your fuel log? You must be flogging the K9excrement out of that Aveo if you're struggling to get over 30 MPG with it.
I'm getting close to that with my 4 liter Mustang. And I'm not averse to "putting the spurs to my pony" (when appropriate).

Holy moly - kettle, meet pot!

You're having trouble getting 30 in the Aveo and you're worried your wife doesn't have an efficiency mindset?? What's she getting from it!!?
